So there is at least a difference between revisions John’s version and I don’t think it’s a CDC issue but maybe a bug in printf function or more likely a cast issue. It would be nice to test this program on several pinguino board to understand if this is linked with the processor type or is a compiler problem. Even when I tried all the different COM port options I still couldn’t get it to realise that there was a device attached. Surely it can’t be a lot of work on the manufacturer’s part to produce an 8. They send shutdown and other codes over the HID interface. Tnx for any help.

My device still doesn’t work. CDC Emulation buggy – fcapozzi – Hi all. If you are installing via the self-installer, keep the Machine powered off until the drivers are fully installed.
I’ve several PIC processor ready available at my lab but it take time to assemble different pinguinos just to test It would be nice to test this program on several pinguino board to dcc if this is linked with the processor type or is a compiler problem.
Here a tiny example to exploit the problem.
USB RS Emulation Driver (pic18f) | Microchip
Windows will prompt for a driver if it cannot find one, you need to locate the driver you downloaded for your version of windows. I’m sure that happens, too. I think he was hoping he could get the latest driver here. To choose the setting, you will need to press the F7 key. This device cannot do calls on its own.
CDC driver problem with Windows 7 64bit
They like to give me brief responses and ignore the fact it doesn’t work and it’s on them. I tried an Olimex MX but it has too little flash even emulstion such a simple sample.
It’s not “outdated” by the OEM’s standard. It’s great to finally have some insight from you guys. I am far from an expert on the INF files. I also test to change the variable memory handling using the modifier “static” and “volatile” fo a but with no luck.
USB RS-232 Emulation Driver (pic18f2450)
I’m starting to understand the driver files better now though. Did it come from the system manufacturer’s webiste? Es232 we’re talking about CDC here. I’m going to continue to try and push them to produce a new driver, but I’m beginning to look into alternative imports that I can get from China.
TC Series Microchip Driver Installation
I think I’m likely to end up with an arduino based monitoring solution which can send a rs2232 off signal to my PC when the battery voltage gets too low and can emulate an ACPI compliant battery in Windows hell if I know how I’m going to achieve this though.
Did it come with the device? It often simply can’t be done because there aren’t new OS drivers for old hardware.
However, I’m now on Windows 8. It’s one more thing to try, and it’s all I know about it: I will say though, that mine seems to be a lot more bare-bones, so maybe there’s something emuation the Microchip files that’s conflicting with what Windows 8 is trying to do.
I made some tests and I can confirm that the problem comes from the conversion of i from int to float. I can get PSUs of a smaller size with a similar power output for less than half the price emulatiion China and I doubt there is much quality difference either, these PSUs aren’t exactly the golden standard but they’re all I’ve got.
I can’t believe this post has been 3 weeks with no reply? If it is a windows certified driver it will download if needed and install itself. CDC Emulation buggy – regis – I don’t think it’s a CDC issue but maybe a bug in printf function or more likely a cast issue.
Razyre New Member Total Posts: My take on this is it is based on the CDC demo or is it. They send shutdown and other codes over the HID interface.
